GETSET to set a new value and get the previous one in a single atomic step.
The reply is the old value, or null when the key did not exist. Note that the key’s time to live is discarded, so a key with an expiration becomes permanent when written this way.
The classic use is resetting a counter while reading it, where the atomicity guarantees nothing is counted twice. SET with the GET option does the same thing and can additionally set or keep an expiration in the same call.
